Transfer Airtime/Data

To transfer Airtime from MTN to Airtel and vice versa, you need to download and install the Tingtel app from PlayStore.

How to Transfer Airtime/Data

  1. On the Tingtel app, click on Transfer Airtime
  2. At the top select which SIM you want to use
  3. Enter the amount you wish to Transfer
  4. Click Check Balance to ensure you have enough credit
  5. Click Next
  6. Input the Airtel or MTN number you want to credit
  7. Enter your mobile network transfer PIN
  8. Click Transfer to complete
  9. Check status in History tab.

 

How to Sell Airtime

  1. Click on Sell Airtime on Tingtel app
  2. At the top select which SIM you want to use
  3. Enter the amount you want to sell
  4. Click Check Balance to ensure you have sufficient credit
  5. Click Next
  6. Choose Bank name
  7. Enter Account number (wait for name to appear)
  8. Enter your mobile network transfer PIN
  9. Click Sell Airtime
  10. Check Status in History tab and your bank account.

 

How to Buy Airtime

  1. On Tingtel app, Click on Buy Airtime
  2. Select the number you want to be credited
  3. Enter the amount you want to buy
  4. Click Next
  5. Enter you card/ussd/bank details to Complete purchase
  6. Wait for network to confirm Airtime credit.

 

How to use QR Transfer

  1. Select SCAN QR on home screen
  2. Enter amount you want to transfer
  3. Check balance to ensure you have sufficient credit
  4. Enter your mobile network transfer PIN
  5. Click Transfer.
